Still in Canada:

A plane skidded off the runway this morning, a cargo plane, so no screaming passengers, but it closed the runway, then heavy fog slowed things down more.

They ended up cancelling the Chicago flight… so now my plans are done, after 2.5 hours of rebooking fun (most AC craft are full because of the stupid Stanley Cup) - I am staying on United (despite preferring the switch) and am going to New York via. Denver, then up over the pole still to Shanghai - no Hong Kong, no 15.5 hours… phew.

This one is a 777 and it goes closer to the pole! Only 14.25 hours...lol But it does end in Shanghai, no more connecting flight in China.

So 3:30pm departure for Denver now… lol Then Newark, then Shanghai...  life is an adventure. Again. Maybe I should call them up and get an extra day added... make up for the chunk of the 25th I am losing...  :(
